Most of us appreciate the need for insurance for our property, our cars and ourselves. Health insurance for our pets is no different. Pay a small amount every week and have the peace of mind that if your pet gets sick or injured, we can go ahead and treat without any financial constraints.

We recently had a case which required multiple surgeries and referral to a specialist for a second opinion. The total cost to treat this dog over a year was about $14000. Yes, that’s a huge amount of money. Luckily she was insured and we were able to offer her the absolute best treatment possible. We would be the first to admit that without insurance this treatment would not have been possible.

Many pets that could otherwise be saved, end up getting put to sleep simply for financial reasons.

There are many providers in New Zealand and the costs are very affordable.
