Advanced Surgery at Affordable Prices
We are able to offer many complicated and advanced surgical procedures that many vets simply don’t or cannot do. In most instances these cases are referred by your vet to a registered veterinary specialist who might charge much higher fees than we do. We are not registered specialists but we do perform many of the same procedures.
Dr Eckhard Stalmann leads our surgical team . Eckhard spent a year doing a surgical internship at Veterinary Specialist Group in Auckland. He brings a lot of new ideas and the latest knowledge to Veterinary Associates.
We get referrals from a number of veterinary clinics in the Auckland area. Many of these owners simply cannot afford specialist fees. We see our surgical role as providing an advanced surgical service to patients that might otherwise not get the treatment they need and deserve.
